Washing the placenta clean…
This is the cleaned placenta. Now we will steam it over high heat for 1 hr, and sun it many days until it is totally dry. I will upload the finished product when it is done.

For washing the placenta, use salt sparingly, because salt will actually make the placenta ‘cold’. You can also use a can of coke to clean it.
Instead of steaming it, buy some 金银花 and 甘草, boil them in water, afterwards, put in the placenta and boil it for 1/2 hour. This will get rid of the ‘fishy’ smell.
Sun it like you would with chinese herbs. Put it out in the sun, bring it indoors to keep. But DO NOT put into the fridge. Because this will cause there to be moisture in the placenta.
Can i ask, what will u be doing with the placenta?
the placenta looks downright erm unappetizing. i can SMELL it from here. -_-;
