I forgot to blog about this event..*sheepish grin*

On 14/3, it was the thursday of the 1 week holiday in march. We went to Oma house in the evening and when it was time to go home, Donald didn’t want to come along.

We kept trying to convince him to go home, because he has never slept away from home and he always wants me to hug him to sleep. Even when I was away in the hospital delivery Toria, Oma told me that he looked for me at night and refused to sleep.

But this time, Donald was adamant, he said he will not cry. So after much persuasion, we left him there.

In the car, I was pretty sad. I was glad that I had Toria, so I didn’t feel that empty. Daddy and I agreed that there had to be a first time. If we never try, we will never know.

I didn’t cry, but it didn’t help that the moment we got into the car, the radio was playing Colin Raye’s “Love, me”. I used to always sing this song to him while hugging him to sleep….*sob sob*

The next morning, 7am, OGu brought Donald back to us.

The moment he got to the bedroom where I was still sleeping, he started to wail and sob! Like he had wallowed all his emotions up for a long time and needed to let go…..

OGu and Oma told us that he did look for me when he wanted to sleep, but Oma reminded him that he promised not to cry and not to look for me…. The next morning he woke up real early and looked for me. So OGu drove him back. In the car he was also fine, no crying at all. But all hell broke loose the moment he saw me…..

That whole Friday, he was super manja, sticky like superglue, clingy like a koala bear.

Now we no longer have issues when we need to leave Oma’s house….

Well, You never try…you never know.
