Today is Donald’s N1 class 1st time performing during assembly. All the parents were there, filming and snapping away.
Donald saw us and was all smiles, he held on to Daddy’s leg and didn’t want to move on with the group.
he finally did (whew!). We thought the moment he sees us, he would not perform…but..to our surprise, he did! He completed the whole performance without fussing. We were sooooo proud of him!
They performed several songs, 1 english song “the big ship sails on the alley? alley? oh?“, one mandarin “xiao zhu” piggy song and also the Chiltern House Song “We are the children of Chiltern House….”
Donald kept gesturing me to go over to him. Finally when the whole assembly is over, I went over and he hugged me like anything.
