Similar to what we did for Donald’s 1st birthday morning, we arranged 12 items for Toria to choose. Chinese tradition, and only done for 1st birthdays. For the fun of it, we decided to try it and to continue the tradition.
For Toria, we laid a gold bar (for wealth), a thermometer (medical field), bible (spiritual person), weighing scale (justice, legal field), a book (education field), calculator (finance, accounting field), a measuring tape (engineering field), sweet (signify a sweet life), clapper (musical talents), ball (sporty person), wedding ring (a good marriage) and a mirror (pretty, media field).
We laid them in a row, put her a distance away, and then she started to crawl towards them….
First, she picked up a mirror…. then she picked up the gold bar.
So may Toria be pretty and wealthy. May God bless your selection!
