Chan Legacy

On 16th August, Donald’s school had a fund raising concert at NYGH auditorium.  It was the 1st time Donald had any performance of such scale.  We paid $40 for his costume, and $200 for our tickets.  He performed so well, danced so well, looked absolutely cute, and we were so proud of him.  We brought our camera and took lots and lots of pictures for him…

But when I came home and downloaded the pictures onto my laptop, I did something I don’t usually do.  I normally check the pictures and ensured I have everything on my laptop before formatting the card in the camera.  But this time, just this time, I did not check and straight away formatted the card.  Alas, the photos was not fully downloaded, I don’t know why.  So I don’t have the copies on my laptop and my card was already formatted.  Everything was gone!  Of all things, of all days, it had to be this special event.  *sigh*  I felt so stupid that I asked Daddy to “phaat” my backside for doing something so silly!!!!!

So… sorry Donald, we do not have any pix for memory sake, but you performed soooo well, so confidently and we can see that you were really enjoying the dance, and you sang along with the song, remembering every move without prompting.  We saw you trying to look for us during the finale and saw the happiness on your face when you spotted us and waved furiously at us.  We are so so proud of you.  We Love you Donald!
