Chan Legacy

We call ourselves the “In-Your-Face” Basketballers.  No idea why and don’t remember how it originated.  Anyway, we are actually the Nanyang Girls High and the Chinese High Basketballers, batch 1989-1992.  We still keep in contact and will meet up several times a year.  CNY is a must. Past 2 years had been at my house, this year, Chia Yong was gracious enough to open up his spacious house. We had a great time!

We were talking about events that happened in the past, when Chia Yong started whipping out his photo albums!  He had painstakingly kept all the photos of the past and sorted them neatly.  From our sec 1 days till the weddings of some of us in the group!

It was hilarious to see how we looked like 20 years ago! OMG! 20 years!!! LOL!  Anyway I was so thin last time, my chin jutted out much more.  They said I looked like an ethiopian.  Sigh… if I lose all my weight now, I will really look like Ethiopian….  

One of the other reminiscent was that, how is it that such a big group that spends so much time together, not a single pair got hooked up together??  Well, there were definitely admirers and admirees, known and unknown, but not a single one was successful.  Hmmm… too shy?  Not assertive enough?  Missed destiny?  Or is THIS destiny?

Daddy was very sweet. Took great care of the kids, played well and kept them entertained while Mummy catch up with old friends….Tks Da Da!
