To celebrate Daddy’s 41st birthday, we took a trip to Malaysia, with the intention to have dinner at the kelong.
First, we had a detour, to the Old Town Coffee near Tun Aminah. Â Look at the pix, Donald is FULL of expressions… hmmm.. he is back in the business of being photographed, but seems to want to portray the “ugly”? rubber face of his?

We then drove to the kelong. Â This time, we decided to try another restaurant. Â But the verdict is… we prefer the other restaurant that we used to patronise. Â This one was very busy, so felt a little “squeezed” and “rushed”, but the food was so so, almost equivalent with the other restaurant. Â But over there, it is not that crowded, so you could really take your time, relax …. ambiance.. Gu Gu said we should support the “not so popular” ones.
Ok lah… always a next time!

We ordered quite a fare… Uncle Kikopee’s treat!Â

As for mummy, this is how I manage, but backpacking 1, and helping 2 others get the vege out of the fried rice, wasn’t exactly a piece of cake. Â So couldn’t really eat together with the family. Â So ended up, eating the “leftovers”. Â Well, look at the bright side, they HAVE to leave some food for me right, so they will be pai seh to eat up the good stuff… so I get to enjoy without guilt? hee hee

Some lovely pix… once again… Donald with his multitude of expressions.. laughable…

Well, the day didn’t exactly ended on a positive note..
See, the girls were exhausted and knocked out before we reached home.  Oma and Ogu were tired too, so they went home.  We decided to have the birthday cake the next day, but dearest Donald insisted to blow the candle TODAY!  So after much whining, Daddy relented and set up the cake (a complimentary mezza9 cake from UOB)

After blowing the candle, Daddy wanted to keep the cake for the next day. Â BUT Donald insisted that he wanted to try the cake. Â Daddy kept dissuading him, but Donald INSISTED… so Daddy relented and cut a slice out for him… so there goes the cake cutting ceremony for the next day, together with the whole family.. Â Guess what? Â 1 lick… and Donald said he didn’t like it and refused to eat it! Â Daddy blew his top! Â Nearly forcefully stuffed the whole cake down Donald’s throat! Â Scolded and shoved him, until Mummy had to come out of the bedroom to stop the commotion…
Hiaz…
What a sad ending to the day, but it was also this day that Daddy felt very remorseful and became a “yes daddy”. Â After Donald slept, Daddy was tearing when he talked to me… he felt really bad. Â He said that being the head of global sales, handling hundreds of employees reporting to him all over the world, is less challenging than fathering these 3 children. Â Wisdom.. he asked God for… wisdom…
Daddy.. may this “birthday wish” of yours be granted… may your relationship with your children remain loving and blissful till the day we die…

Hi! I dropped by via Dory’s blog… your daughter is so adorble! and thanks for letting me know that there is such a way to sling the baby …i didn’t thought of that at all… and it’s true that handling children really needs God’s wisdom and not of our own…
Nice blog!
