Today, I left my 2 older kids behind, brought my little Liz along (cos she is still breastfeeding), and went to Vietnam with Ah Gong.
We stayed in District 5, which is a Chinese District. Not too ex, it was only USD30 per night for a triple room. And it was much bigger, cleaner than a 4 star room in Malaysia!
Vietnam has sooo many motorcycles! And their driving is atrocious! All vehicles! They can suddenly decide to turn left or right or U-turn! Thank goodness they drive at relatively slower speed than Singapore, so they can react to any such changes. If this were to happen in Singapore, I’m sure the motorcyclists would had been thrown off their bikes… all of them!
We had some time in the morning, so we walked to their wet market. Interesting… live fish that actually “jumped” off the plate, and onto the floor, splashing me with some “liquid”. Crabs that can hardly be found in SG – Pek Kee.
