My first time being away from baby, so brought my pump equipment, cold bag etc, but I only managed to feel engorged once, so I only expressed one time, and my body seemed to “weaned” itself….
Anyway, cos my dad’s apartment does not have a fridge, so i kept my packet of milk on the window sill outside, thinking that the overnight low temperature might freeze up the milk, so I could transport it home… but… even when the overnight temp dropped below -4deg, the milk remained in liquid form! It snowed overnight, the milk bag was covered in snow… still in liquid form! So when I left for SG, I asked my dad to throw it away… Hiaz, if I knew that 160ml would had been wasted, I would had drank it straight away after expressing! (yes… gross? Not really, it is warm and sweet, I drank some when I was in Dalian, after hand expressing some cos I was pretty engorged…)Â
Went to hunchun city for some shopping, cos the kids were insisting to come to China with us, so what better place to buy winter clothes than the local place itself? Cheap and you’ll be sure that it is suitable for the weather here.
We had dinner with Wang Ping, Wang Xue and their mother, Wang Ma. Wang Ping has a little daughter, slightly younger than Toria. We had steam boat. I must say that the steam boat was really yummy! The meat was nice and tender. Their sauce for dipping… yummy yummy! Sesame sauce, fermented beancurd （è…ä¹³)，parsley, some chili oil… until now, I can still remember the taste of it!
