I left for Singapore early next morning. It took me an entire day’s flight to get home.
Hunchun – Yanji Airport (2 hour bus ride + taxi)
Yanji – Beijing
Beijing – Shanghai
Shanghai – Singapore (0010hrs on 17/11/09)
When I arrived on 17th November 2009 morning, about 545am. Daddy brought Donald and Elizabeth to fetch me at the airport.
Donald was not able to sleep well throughout the entire time I was away. When I saw him, he had panda eyes! Poor thing…
When he saw me, he didn’t exclaim or get excited, he held my hand so carefully like I was some precious glass item that would shatter and break with too much movement…
He talked to me in whispers, so gently like I was a dream so special that he was afraid that he might wake up and found that it was not real…Â
Sweetie pie… now he can finally sleep well again.
As for Elizabeth, I’m not sure if she recognised me, cos I wore a cap when I came back. But she looked at me, then she had those “shy” smile, and she buried her head on Daddy’s chest… my little cutie…
I’m glad to be home.
