Our princess, Lizzie-lee-ya is turning 1! Yee Yee bought this ballerina dress for her when she went to Paris in October 2009. We decided to let her wear it for her advance celebration today. (Her actual birthday is on the 15th Dec)
She looked absolutely gorgeous! And just so happened, Mummy bought a Tiara for Victoria in September, and it matched the outfit so beautifully! Normally, my kids will pull off whatever I put on their hair, but Elizabeth seemed to know that without a tiara, it would not be complete, so she was very cooperative, and never attempted to take off the hairband tiara!
We took many many individual pix of her… her outfit and the sunlight, resulted in so many dreamy…fairy tale like pictures…
We had a little family gathering to celebrate her birthday.
Since it was held at 230-3pm, which is the time when Liz wakes from her nap, so no lunch, just a light snack. We bought Kong Bah Pow from Westlake Eating House… it was YUMMY! And for cake, we didn’t get the usual creamy, “everyone cannot finish eating so throw away” type of cake. We got a simple cheese cake instead.
We bought a set of unique “happy birthday” candles from NTUC. It was so nice that we wanted to keep it for the next birthday, but little did we realised that when it was lited, the candles melted faster than you could sing happy birthday! At the end of the song, the wax was totally melted and was ALL OVER the cake! Gross! LOL! But it was easy to just pluck it off, and eat the cake.
She looks absolutely beautiful and so princess-like! Gorgeous! Happy Birthday Elizabeth!
