Today is National Day. I told the kids that we are all going to be dressed in red and white today. So when Donald woke up, he started to dress himself and even selected my red and white clothes for me!
We did not go to the Padang to watch the parade, neither did we go out today, but we still wore red and white. Felt good!
We had great fun watching the NDP from home. We caught all the “tail end” action from the airplane fly by cos they will fly by our house after doing their stunts at the padang! We were all screaming away at the window! LOL!
The kids joined in the National Anthem, after our President Nathan arrived at the Padang.
Then we watched the entire parade, and at 2010hrs, we joined the rest of Singapore in reciting the Pledge and singing the National Anthem again!
I teared during the Parade.  Seems uncontrollable, every NDP. During the national anthem, or pledge, or National Day Songs, or seeing Lee Kuan Yew, or the remembering of Goh Keng Swee this year, and especially the PM speech and we can be that amazing Singapore in the future, unimaginable now, as long as we work hard and stay united as one people. Yes, indeed! Singapore, you have come a long way. Jia You! I am so so so proud of you Singapore!
